Fishing Competition

Saturday 10 May 2008 9.30am  As you may or may not be aware, we will be running the annual fishing competition on Saturday 10 May 08 at Southall Activity Centre starting at 9.30am, with the Prize giving Ceremony at approximately 3pm. Fishing time will be 10am-2pm. This will be the 8th time this competition has run. It is organised by the Rotary Club of Greenford on our behalf. They will supply professional fishing coaches and some of the necessary fishing equipment required. However, for the more experienced angler that you may have in your Section, they should bring their own tackle. Although at this time I am not sure what the prizes are, I can tell you that on the past occasions they have been of high quality and value. This event is totally free of any charges to you as a Section or to the individual. There are a limited number of 50 places. The names of those wishing to take part must be received, by the 5 May, either at DHQ, phone or email. 01895 634130 or andrewknorman@btineternet.com. I will require this from section leaders please and not as in the past direct from parents. Hot and cold drinks will be provided, but the young people will need to bring a packed lunch.
